The aim of the “Sitzbock” is to encourage informal meetings and spontaneous creative exchange. It strengthens the spirit of community by making it possible to get in touch, even in unusual places, and thereby build a better relationship with colleagues. The “Sitzbock” makes flexible sitting possible: No matter whether it is ridden or used as a support when standing: With ease it transforms every meeting into a spontaneous brainstorming or a creative get-together.
It is 707mm high and is manufactured using the rotation casting process. The polypropylene is available in black, white, grey and orange and can be stacked excellently with its own weight of only 4.8 kg. The “Sitzbock” variant with a non-slip felt saddle blanket, which is available in various colours, provides further comfort.
Arranged as a small herd, loosely grouped or in a row: the seatbock creates an atmosphere that playfully invites you to linger and at the same time enables you to sit actively and communicatively.
This product was realized during the work for the design studio Rudolph Schelling Webermann in Hannover, Germany.
